44 Consult is an RICS Registered independent Chartered Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancy founded in 2013 

Based in Central Lancashire, with projects from Cumbria to Cheshire and beyond, 44 Consult is the North West's leading consultancy for cost and project management

We specialise in public and private residential, hotel, leisure and commercial projects ranging from £500K to £20m in value

​The company is lead by Nick Dean BA(Hons) MSc MRICS

Nick's youth was spent working on building sites around his hometown of Lytham St.Annes. Following degree studies at Manchester, Nick moved to London to start his career as a Quantity Surveyor, gaining his Masters degree at LSBU whilst working in and around central London. Nick gained MRICS chartership in 2012

​Nick's experience lies in delivering an £100m+ mixed-use estate regeneration project, a 20-storey residential tower, multiple mixed-use housing and local community projects, a large refurbishment programme for the 2012 Olympic hospital, many commercial projects as well as cutting-edge retrofit and sustainability demonstration schemes

​In 2013 Nick used a year-out wisely, hiking, diving and photographing 20+ counties across Asia, from the Himalayan mountains of Bhutan to the unspoilt coral reefs of Papua and everything in between

On return to the UK, Nick relocated to the North West and founded 44Consult, motivated to create a new consultancy of his own

Our Character

44 Consult was founded to move away from the stuffy surveying practices inherent in the industry. Our Clients are growing businesses and service providers too; expanding, creating, developing. As we help them to grow, we grow too

We are independent of any corporate ties, restrictive frameworks, inherited partnerships or ineffective relationships. We only consider a project where we know we can add value. We are committed from the start and promise we will never take a job we can't finish.

We bring the right mix of hard work, bespoke services, experience and personality and our experience and knowledge derives from an eclectic mix of projects all with bespoke challenges, which we take forward to the next

We have built a solid reputation and a base of valued clients, consultants and delivery partners. We protect our clients interests as if they are our own, so they can concentrate on their goals. And in this approach, our clients become friends
