Land Remediation
£700K Client: Poole Dick Associates / Ainscough Strategic Land 44 Consult provided Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration services on this complex land remediation project in Widnes, Merseyside. The site consisted of 24 acres of contaminated former railway sidings. The site was used as a plant to creosote railway sleepers and was heavily contaminated. We procured a main contractor and specialist remediation subcontractors under an ICC 2011 Form of Contract and delivered the scheme through to successful sign off by the Local Authority and Environment Agency, allowing the site to be sold. |
